Ada's a wreck until she gets her morning coffee:
She sure woke up for the CIRCUS, though. Predictably, both girls' favorite parts were when - after buying rather decent admissions tickets - we paid $40 for a 45 second elephant ride followed by a 1 minute pony ride. Ridiculously over-priced for such short rides, but totally worthwhile in the end. Here we are on the elephant: Mommy, Ada, and Ellie clinging to a random Sith warrior and her daughter.
And here are the ponies:
This week we also spent some time NOT in a box and as Paper Bag Princesses.
It was a good week.

Wow - I have taken exactly zero pictures in the last ten days and you have been to the circus? I suck.
(But I'm getting my spring sick out of the way in an effort to not visit the wonderful, wonderful friends I made the last time I was in Casper. In the ER.) :o)
I don't do circuses, much to the chagrin of our circus working friends, but Mr. MFBA will take them and they always have such a good time. $40 is awfully expensive but if the kids had a blast it was worth the money.
I love the paper bag costumes. So cute and a fun way to spend a day.
Rob, I laughedw right out loud! Here's hoping NONE of us get sick in Casper, but especially not you!
CCW, I do not enjoy the circus. But seeing the kids' faces when they got to ride on large mammals was worth it for me . . . this time. I thought the circus was boring as a kid and it hasn't changed much.
Have you read the book The Paper Bag Princess? Totally awesome little feminist fairy tale!
Awww, so cute. Also wanted to say I really love your blog title--it made me laugh!
Thanks, Sadako!
