MY heart is with your family. After reading your post about your grandfather, I see how amazingly difficult this must have been for your father and also how amazingly necessary.
It's done, and he's not happy. My dad said, "His memory is gone, but not his mind."
Isn't that awful? He is alert enough to watch his body fail. He's losing his memories but his mind is still active. Most of the time he knows who he is and where he is and who we are. And he doesn't like what's happening.
