Fishing for Fish

My girls have taken up fishing this summer. It's one of their favorite hobbies, though they've added their own twist. They sit on Ellie's bed and "fish" the carpet for who-knows-what using . . . beads. Broken chains of shiny necklace beads.

I suggested to Ada that her Grandpa might like to take her fishing someday, and she said, "That would be very nice." Indeed.

In other news, life is good.

Abby already has fishing gear, though it's still in it's packaging two years after purchase. Oh well. I figure we might get out next year.

Rob, I think Grandpa would love to take the girls fishing. But do we need to buy tiny hip waders? :)

Thanks, Kathy and Jennifer. The picture was not posed, but it was way too cute for me to pass up.

Grandpa fishes differently - they might need waders indeed. I'm sure they would be incredibly adorable!
