Flatflo, that's a great idea; wish we'd thought of it! (Perhaps that would have justified the expense of buying the thing when I promised myself I wouldn't spend much money on candle stuff.) We're using an advent wreathe Ellie made in Sunday School last year. It's . . . rustic. :-)
And we love cutting down our own tree! This year we went to a place down by Washington.
(for the record - I'm not excited about the expense and stress of doing Christmas-Letter-Mailing - but Anny won't let go of it. I told her that I would even do people-specific emails to all, and mail something to those without email. She's not relenting. Oh well.)
