sarahlynn! thank you for that post. i've had a reaction to all the pink as well. i really loved that link. i'm not a mom, yet. and goddess willing i do become one, i may not have a child who is all and wonderous like those charts say. i may just have a child that is perfect in so many other ways. that post is a great reminder of that. along with your blog, of course :) thank you.
Brooke, I can't figure out how to leave comments on your blog, but I wanted to share that I loved an issue of Ms. Magazine from a few years ago. It was sponsored by Komen and branded with pink advertising all over . . . and the lead article was called "Think Before You Pink" and discussed some of the points you mentioned in your blog post. I thought that was great.
