As you can see, Thanksgiving at my parents' house was very filling this year.

What a great picture.

It looks like your turkeys are done!

The turkeys are "done."

What a GREAT picture!

I'm very much looking forward to seeing you at Christmas. I don't anticipate the same picture, though my belly is larger than I would like. :o)

It's strange that we're both due at the same time, but it will be so cool to have same-age cousins someday.

As for the turkeys being done, well, not these two! These two should stay in the oven for another 6 weeks or so . . .

Rob, I'm going to be a wreck at Christmas. Fair warning.

A beautiful picture!

4 of my nieces (age 11) and nephews (age 8) were born within a week of each other. It's like having a built in playmate for family gatherings.

It looks like one of the babies is a bit larger than the other. I can't wait to hear what each of them weigh when they make their arrival into the world.

CCW, that is cool. Do you have about 15 siblings?!

Rebecca, it's my second pregnancy and my sister's first, so I think that's most of the reason that I'm so much larger. The father of my baby is also much larger than the father of my sister's baby, even though my sister and I are roughly similar in size (except when I gain a lot of weight).

Aunt Anny, it will indeed be wonderful to be together at Christmas, both pregnant. : ) Welcome, by the way!

Yes, it's funny how our bodies expand more easily in those subsequent pregnancies, and those factors about daddy do make a difference.

I have had a range of babies between just over 4 pounds to as much as almost 10. It's really neat that you are both due so closely.

Sarahlynn, I am an only child but Mr. MFBA is one of 4. Two of my SIL's each had two of their kids within a week of each other.

One SIL has two kids and the other has four (it was her 3rd and 4th that were close to the others)

Oh, let me also add that my aunt (by marriage) and her sister had their daughters within hours of each other at the same hospital. It made our paper 26 years ago.

I just want to say that you're one of 4 expectant friends I know right now...it's like Christmas getting all the new kids added to our hang-out groups. Good luck with the home stretch-- those last few weeks most women I know usually go from 'ahh, I love being pregnant!' to 'okay...i'm done with this now' really fast. Hugs!
